Practical Steps to Identifying and Engaging Influencers Online
Brian Giesen, Director of Digital Strategy, @Ogilvy
Participants will learn how to monitor consumer generated media including a survey of the free and syndicated technologies available (e.g. Radian6, Visible Technologies, BuzzLogic, etc.). Using tools and methods, they will learn how to assess online influence and begin creating their own Influencer database. Equal emphasis will be placed on creating social media engagement strategy for real business/Government briefs and preparing you and/or your team by integrating social media into your daily routine. We will cover the best use of social networks, microblogs and blogs, video and picture content sharing strategies, advanced search engine optimization, community development and activating viral programs. Participants will develop different models for measuring the performance and effectiveness of digital influence programs.
